PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Kennywood has announced Phantom Fright Nights, Happy Hauntings and Fall Fantasy have been canceled for 2020.
In addition the 100th anniversary of the Jack Rabbit rollercoaster will be postponed until 2021 so they, “can give this great pillar of Kennywood the party it deserves!”
While fall events will be canceled the park will be open for “summer-style” operations Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday from October 2 – November 1.
Kennywood adds that some of its normal summer events will be held in October, “with a seasonal twist.”
Other events including the Pittsburgh Pierogi Festival and Holiday Lights are still scheduled as normal.
