PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - After many complaints about the new cheese sauce being used at Kennywood’s famous Potato Patch, the amusement park announced Tuesday they will be going back to serving the tradition cheese “that made the Potato Patch one of Kennywood’s most popular attractions.

Kennywood issued the following post on Facebook Tuesday afternoon:

“We have heard from many of you about a new cheese sauce being tested at the Potato Patch here at the start of the season. We greatly appreciate your feedback and passion, and want to let you know it’s been heard. We will be going back to serving Patch fries with the traditional cheese that’s made the Potato Patch one of Kennywood’s most popular attractions.”

Thank you for sharing your experiences; we look forward to serving you this summer!”

Previously Potato Patch fans went off on the cheese sauce change.

#BringTheCheeseBack Let’s do it Pittsburgh! Get the original cheese sauce back to the Potato Patch!! We love Kennywood! We want only the best for the Best Amusement Park in America! @bubbasugly @meltaylor1007
