PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – There have been looming talks of a meat shortage across the country.
"It's been very busy, but so far, so good. My suppliers are doing well," said David Elluinger, owner of Elluingers Meats in Zelienople.
"When this thing first all broke out it was really, really crazy... People kind of settled in a little bit, now they are getting a little nervous again," Elluinger explains.
He questions whether he is going to get his product at times, but he has yet to experience any issues.
The meat shortage scare has actually helped smaller butcher shops like Elluingers.
