Man, Woman Assaulted Outside Downtown McDonald's

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Police are investigating after a man was assaulted and a female was pepper-sprayed at the McDonald’s on Wood Street in Downtown Pittsburgh Monday night.

Pittsburgh Police say they responded to the incident around 10:15 p.m. after receiving multiple calls.

A man was allegedly punched in the face and was found unconscious on the street outside when police arrived.

Reports say the man could be paralyzed. 

Police also found a woman who had been pepper-sprayed.

Police say the victims were inside the restaurant when another female confronted them causing an argument.

The female grabbed the male and female victims and forced them outside.

"A group of females surrounded and assaulted the female victim, which included the use of pepper spray. The male tried to intervene and was assaulted.”

An ambulance transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Police arrested Roneese Davis on aggravated assault charges Tuesday afternoon but the investigation continues. 

Zone 2 police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call them at 412-255-2827.
