DAAT Arrests 20-Year-Old Male Accused of Assault, Vandalism, and Looting During May 30th Protest

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Police have arrested a Butler man wanted for assault, vandalism and looting during the downtown Pittsburgh riot on May 30.

20-year-old Jordan Erdos is accused of kicking photojournalist Ian Smith of KDKA-TV in the head.

Erdos also admitted to thrown water bottle at police and breaking a storefront window.

Also arrested is Robert Redman. Police say there’s video of Redman using a skateboard to damage a police vehicle. And tagging bridge supports with graffiti.

On Thursday, Erdos was being transported to Allegheny County Jail.
