PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – The Pennsylvania State Police will be hosting free car seat installations and checks over starting Monday.

The events are part of the Operation Safe Holiday season, which runs from November 25th through December 8th, and will offer free services to parents and caregivers who want to have a certified Child Passenger Safety (CPS) technician check their child car seats.
The technicians are available to show proper installation, harnessing of children, and will check car seats for suitability.
