HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – The Pennsylvania State Police have released the total enforcements made by Governor Tom Wolf’s Stay-at-Home order.

“Law enforcement is focused on ensuring residents are aware of the Stay at Home order and informing the public of social distancing practices and while the order is mandatory, voluntary compliance is preferred,” Colonel Robert Evanchick, commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police, said in a statement. “Troopers maintain discretion to warn or issue citations, and their decision is specific to the facts and circumstances of each particular encounter.”

The order states that all individuals must remain at home, except for essential activities and for jobs that provide life-sustaining business and government services.

Since the order began at 8:00 p.m. on April 1st, there have been 6 warnings and 1 citation.
