Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Lifted In Lawrenceville

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A precautionary boil water advisory was in effect for a portion of Upper Lawrenceville after a water main break on Wednesday.

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority said in a release that the break occurred along McCandless Avenue around 6:30 a.m.

The advisory was lifted around 10:40 on Friday morning.

A water buffalo was placed at McCandless Park for those who were unable to boil their water.
