NHL Player Says He Was 'Sucker Punched' Because He Discussed Voting Republican, Mentioned Trump

NHL player logan Couture claims he was 'sucker punched' after discussing politics.

In a tweet, the San Jose Sharks center said he was in Toronto when he discussed voting republican, mentioning Donald Trump specifically.

"I spent last night in Toronto Ontario. I talked about voting for the Republican Party, and I mentioned Donald Trump by name. I was sucker punched. Is this really what we are coming to? If you vote you are a villain? Man this world is so wrong"

In a later tweet, Couture mentioned that his father was a police officer and he would vote Republican if he could. Couture is Canadian and cannot vote in the U.S. election.
