PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – A day after Allegheny County recorded its first day of zero COVID-19 cases since March, nine are being reported on Thursday.

Fitzgerald also urged residents to continue to practice social distancing and to wear masks.


A total of 2,122 cases are confirmed in the county.

14 percent of those cases are in Healthcare workers.

Zero additional deaths are being reported with the total number of those who have lost their life to COVID-19 at 177.

All deaths range in age from 42-103 with 84 being the median age.

In addition, three new hospitalization is being reported. The number of those who have been hospitalized past or present is 361.

According to the PA Department of Health, 44,122 people have tested negative for coronavirus.
