PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – For the 5th straight day, Allegheny County is reporting zero deaths as a result of COVID-19.
Eight new cases of coronavirus is being reported. Originally, one case was reported on Monday. That has since been corrected.
That brings the total number of cases to 1,919.
1,798 of those coronavirus cases are confirmed with 121 probable.
Of those cases, 270 or 14 percent of the county's COVID-19 total are in healthcare workers.
Zero new hospitalizations are being reported for the second day in a row with the number of those hospitalized past or present at 340.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health reports 30,129 have tested negative for coronavirus.
The number of dead due to the virus remains at 151 with 140 of those cases confirmed and 11 probable.
All deaths range in age from 42-103 with 85 being the median age.There have been a total of 340 hospitalizations throughout the county, either ongoing or in the past.Age Breakdown:
