PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – One person is dead and three people injured after several shootings Wednesday night just across the West Virginia state line in Hancock County.
A woman was fatally wounded at a home in New Cumberland around 7:30 P.M.
According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, police were notified of a shooting on Judge Drive, then were alerted to an active shooter on Clearview Avenue, where two people were injured. and a dog were wounded inside a residence.
Officers found the accused gunman’s vehicle, attempting to stop him. He continued to drive before police were able to trap him. An officer shot the man, and he was flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital.
