Pittsburgh Named In Top 25 Cities For Small Business Growth

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Biz2Credit has released its annual ranking of the Top 25 Cities for Small Business Growth and Pittsburgh rounded out the list at number 25.

According to a press release, the rankings are “based on a weighted average that includes annual revenue credit score, age of business (in months), and the company’s proprietary BizAnalyzer score that factors in cash flow, debt-to-income ratio, taxes and other data. In its computation, Biz2Credit examined the financials of nearly 30,000 companies that applied for small business financing in 2018.”

Companies with fewer than 250 employees or less than $10 million in annual revenue were considered for this list.

Miami, FL moved up to the number 1 spot this year, with San Jose staying in the second spot, and New York City moving from the top spot to the fourth:
