PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide.
According information from the County, police in Upper Saint Clair received a call from a 67-year-old man Monday morning who claimed to have just killed his wife and said he was going to kill himself.
When SWAT officers entered the home, they found that both the man and his 54-year-old wife were dead.
The couple were estranged and the wife had apparently returned to the home to gather personal items when she was shot and killed.
Police believe the man took his own life just after making the call to police. Anyone with information is asked to call the Allegheny County Police Tipline at 1-833-ALL-TIPS (1-833-255-8477).
