
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Police have arrested a suspect wanted for robbing a Robinson Township market.
The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Tyler Rutherford is accused of robbing Rossi’s Market on Forest Grove Road on April 28.
Rutherford, of Thornburg, was spotted on Cedar Avenue in the North Side and was taken into custody around 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Employees of Rossi’s said Rutherford entered with a hoodie and mask, armed with a rifle and demanded cash.
In addition to his arrest for robbery, Rutherford also had two bench warrants out for violation of probation from a theft and escape that both occurred in 2014.
