PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Police continue to investigate the disappearance of 22-year-old Tonee Turner of Hazelwood.
It's been one week since she was last seen and her family is asking for the public’s help.
Sydnee Turner, Tonee’s sister tells KDKA Radio’s Lynne Hayes Freeland today she is touched by all the attention the search is getting.
“All the information people are giving and all the flyering, I just feel so blessed that Tonee has touched so many lives that people are so passionate to continue to find her and the belief that Tonee is going to come today, every today is so tangible and palpable,” said Turner. “People keep reaching out, people keep spreading her message, people keep asking ways they can help.”
Turner was last seen Monday December 30th, at Dobra Tea in Squirrel Hill. Her belongings were found by a cyclist on the sidewalk of the Homestead Grays Bridge.
Her family has been putting up fliers, going door to door, and the community has gathered for support and candlelight vigils.
With no sign of Tonee, other than a few personal belongings, found on the Homestead Bridge, Sydnee says its time for someone to come forward with information.
