PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Someone in the Pittsburgh area became an instant millionaire recently.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced Wednesday that someone who bought a Mega Millionaire scratch-off ticket won $1 million.


The ticket was sold at the Community Supermarket on Pacific Avenue in Natrona Heights.

The supermarket gets a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

Mega Millionaire is a $20 game that has five top prizes of $1 million.

Winners should sign the back of their ticket, call the Lottery at 1-800—692-7481 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.

Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game's end-sale date that. That information is posted on the Lottery's website.
