
DERRY TWP, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A man who reportedly shot a gun at a Westmoreland County home early Monday morning hitting a woman, who later died, while she was sleeping is in custody.
Pennsylvania State Police say 20-year-old Nathan Quidetto of Latrobe is charged with homicide in the shooting death of 52-year-old Tracy Squib.
Police say the incident happened around 4 a.m. on Pandora Road in Derry Township.
Squib was found shot in the chest and was able to call 911. She was transported to a local hospital but died from her injuries.
Squib leaves behind two teenage children and a husband.
The Post-Gazette reports she was a teacher.
A $10,000 reward was offered leading to the arrest.
