Suspect, Two Passengers In The Hospital After Route 28 Crash

SOUTH BUFFALO TWP, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — Three people are in the hospital after a police chase on Route 28 Sunday night.

 State Police tried pulling over 24-year-old Derik Carothers in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.

That’s when troopers say Carothers took off, eventually crashing near Route 356 in Butler County.

 Carothers and his two passengers, 23-year-old Isiaha Waulk and a juvenile girl, were hospitalized.

 Police say drugs and a stolen firearm were found in the vehicle. Both men face several charges. ​
