PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — A bomb squad was called to the Pittsburgh FBI office on East Carson Street Thursday morning.
A robot inspected a vehicle at the rear of the building.
"Suspicious activity" was reported at the South Side office around 6 a.m.
Officials confirm there was "language" on the driver's side of the vehicle.
Photos show the words "RUSSIA PLANTS MICRORADIO DEVICES IN PPLS EARS & CONTROLS THEM USING A SOUND SIMILAR TO A DOG WHISTLE SUBLIMINAL HYPNOSIS" spray painted there, and the word "Spygate" on the hood of the orange vehicle parked just outside the entrance gate.
There is no word on motive or suspects at this time.
