BROOKVILLE, Pa (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - An 18-year-old that was charged with felony counts after a viral video surfaced of him and another teen abusing a wounded deer has pleaded guilty.
Alexander Brock Smith has been placed on probation for two years in Jefferson County, must serve 200 hours of community service and pay multiple fines.
Smith will also not be able to obtain a hunting license for the next 15 years.
Smith is the stepson of the Brookville Chief of Police Vince Markle.
The video, believed to have been shot on November 30 last year, shows the young men stomping on and kicking an injured white-tailed deer, laughing and allegedly try to pull the deer's antlers off while it was still alive.
