PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The jury will resume deliberations Wednesday morning in the trial of Cheron Shelton, charged in the 2016 Wilkinsburg mass murders.
KDKA Radio's Joe DeStio reports from the courthouse the jury worked for about seven hours in its first full day of deciding if Shelton is guilty of five counts of 1st Degree Murder and the murder of an unborn child.

February 11, 2020 Near the end of the day, Judge Edward Borkowski denied a defense motion for a mistrial because of the release of audio and video exhibits to the media.
Earlier jurors returned with two questions they wanted cell phones records that were used at trial, which the judge granted, but he told them to use their memories of testimony when they asked who the prosecution alleged fired the two guns used in the shootings.
