
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a wind chill advisory for the Pittsburgh area from 5:00 AM Wednesday morning until 5:00 PM Thursday evening.
The wind chill is expected to reach as low as 20 below zero. Temperatures that low can result in in frostbite and hypothermia.
If you do have to go outside, it is advised to dress in layers and not to have your skin exposed.
Many schools and activities have already been cancelled.
