PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – A woman died on Friday night after parking her car on the Homestead Grays Bridge, leaving three children inside the car, and allegedly jumped or fell into the Monongahela River.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the woman has been identified as Stanlee Allyn Holbrook, 26, of McKees Rocks.
The incident happened around 7:20 p.m. Friday evening. Emergency responders were called to the scene, and recovered Holbrook’s body from the Monongahela River around 9:15 p.m.
The three children in the car, between the ages of 1 and 9, were unharmed, but were taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
