PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A local activist says a controversial Facebook post she made following the beating of two African American women outside a North Side Exxon gas station was taken out of context.
Amber Sloan tells KDKA Radio’s Lynne Hayes Freeland it was the in the heat of the moment when she urged followers in the post they should be hunting down that white man, Scott Hill, and killing him.
“I don’t want to see anyone hurt, that’s not my intention,” said Sloan.
One of her attorney’s Patrick nightingale says there was no intent to communicate a threat and no one would take the statement seriously.
