For his 72nd birthday, Senator Mitt Romney's staff surprised him with a Twinkie cake, his favorite snack!
But it's not his birthday cake that has the internet talking; it's the way he blew out his candles after his team sang happy birthday.

As it turns out Romney had a very sanitary explanation for his strange candle technique.
Romney told TMZ "I have a bit of a cold and I didn't want to spray my germs all over the Twinkies for everybody else to eat."
