PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police are asking the public’s help identifying five suspects involved in the May 30 riot downtown that broke off from a larger, peaceful protest.
Police say all of the individuals threw “various objects” at officers at Fifth Avenue and Smithfield Street.
The suspects are described as:
A male with a black shirt and bicycle, with a tattoo on his upper left arm, who threw objects that hit police.
A male in a gray shirt and long black shorts who threw objects at police, burglarized businesses and broke windows
A bald male in gray shorts, a dark t-shirt, a dark zip and green scarf who is accused of throwing multiple objects at police and burglarized a liquor store.
A male in a two-toned hooded jacket and dark pants accused of throwing glass bottles at police.
And a male in a red shirt with tattoos on both upper arms who threw beer cans at police.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Damage Assessment and Accountability Task Force or DAAT
