After a fourth positive COVID-19 test, Central Catholic High School is moving to full online learning for the next two weeks.
Unless otherwise noted, Central Catholic will resume in-person learning on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
With the stoppage of in-person learning, all extra-curricular activities and sports have been suspended, unless an online option is available.
Parents have been informed of the closure through school communication channels and will be updated as necessary.
All four cases within the school are independent of each other and no spreading has occurred through the school.
"We are thankful that we have been able to provide face-to-face instruction for nearly three months and we are fully prepared to provide quality instruction online," said Brother Tony Baginski, FSC, Principal. "We encourage our students to continue to follow social distancing guidelines and stay safe and healthy throughout the holiday and we look forward to welcoming them back after Thanksgiving break."
