On Wednesday, Allegheny County had 20 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, including a child under the age of 10.
This is the second child in the county to die from the virus.
In addition, 463 new COVID-19 cases have been added bringing the total since March of 2020 to 65,577.
The county has seen 1,245 COVID-related deaths and 3,832 hospitalizations since the start of the pandemic.
