The Allegheny County Health Department says there 224 new COVID-19 cases as of Thursday and two additional virus-related deaths.
Of the new cases reported, 174 are confirmed. The rest are probable.
Both deaths occurred in February.
Since March of 2020, there have been 75,724 cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County which have resulted in 5,090 hospitalizations and 1,654 deaths.
