A new Pittsburgh restaurant is now serving "Garbage-Plate"-style dishes.

What's a garbage plate? Pittsburgh Magazine's Kristy Graver tells the Big K Morning Show says its available at a take-out place called PileZ.

"A garbage plate originated in Rochester, New York and its like a mish-mash of your favorite picnic food," said Graver.

PileZ is open 24-hours-a-day.

It is located at 370 Atwood Street in Oakland, which until last year, was the site of the original Mad Mex.

PileZ offers its custom cheeseburger, Buff & steak or hots piles, along with burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, breakfast, drinks and more.

Zach Vanzo, the owner, says the selection will change with each semester change at the University of Pittsburgh.
