There were 276 new cases and two new deaths reported by the Allegheny County Health Department Thursday.
One of the deaths was from December, the other from this week. Both associated with long-term care facilities.
There have been 77,515 cases of COVID-19 in Allegheny County and 1,688 Deaths attributed to COVID-19 since the pandemic first reached the county on March 14 of last year.
County officials said this week that case counts could rise in the coming weeks.
