A 6-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the head in the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh Sunday.
Police and EMS responded to the 400 block of Johnson Avenue for reports of a boy shot in the head according to Public Safety.
The boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition. It is unknown how the boy got his hands on the gun.
Police are investigating.
