
An Allegheny County Police Officer is being praised for his quick actions that saved a life.
On Monday afternoon, around 3:45, officers responded to reports of a man in cardiac arrest at Pittsburgh International’s ticketing level.
Officer Marc Pruchnitzky found a 43-year-old man unconscious on the floor.
He applied an AED and began CPR.
Officer Pruchnitzky was able to revive the man who was then attended to by Airport Fire crews and EMS before he was transported to a local hospital for additional care.
