A Turtle Creek man and telecommunications offers with the Allegheny County Emergency Services has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Allegheny County police conducted a search warrant in the 400 block of Boyd Street early Thursday morning and found suspect Robert Bookshar in the residence.

Detectives found several electronic devises that had images and videos of child pornography.

The 46-year-old Bookshar was arrested and taken to Allegheny County Jail.

Police were made aware of Bookshar at the end of May by police in Tampa Florida, who contacted County Police assigned to the Crimes Against Children Federal Task Force.

The ACES say he was hired in November 2014 and was placed on unpaid leave after the charges were revealed.

He faces five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
