Allegheny County to begin using Pfizer vaccine at Castle Shannon clinic

Allegheny County Health Department Officials say they will be offering the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine at their Castle Shannon vaccine clinic next week to eligible patients 65 and older.

Appointments will be available for the week of March 1st starting at 9 A-M Friday morning, either online through the county website or on the county's 2-1-1 hotline.


The county says no walk-up or on-site appointments will be accepted, and anyone not 65 or older or will be turned away from the site.
