It took two years but the Churchill Borough Council approved the Amazon Distribution Center to move into the former Westinghouse Facility in Churchill.
The final vote was 5-2 after Council members voted Tuesday to approve the proposal.
The project could bring more than 1,000 jobs to the area and $11 million annually in tax money.
Those who were opposed to the idea brought up pollution, traffic, and land use as reasons they didn't want this to pass.
