Amtrak will be adding a second daily train to Harrisburg.

Governor Tom Wolf announced Monday an agreement between Norfolk Southern and PennDOT with the state investing more than $200 million for infrastructure and safety improvements to the rail line including upgraded tracks and passenger platforms.
“It really started a few months ago with the broad things Amtrak is doing to expand service in Pennsylvania and make it easier to get from place-to-place. This is a continuation of one more piece of that big, broad puzzle.”
On the NewsRadio KDKA Morning Show, the governor said the funds are coming partially from the federal infrastructure bill.
