Another huge lottery jackpot could be claimed this weekend.
Saturday's Powerball drawing is set at $700 million or $375.7 cash.
If someone matches all the numbers, they'll claim the sixth-biggest Powerball jackpot in history and the tenth in U.S. Lottery history.
As of Friday afternoon, $2,700 worth of tickets were being sold each minute.
"Whether it's purchasing your Powerball ticket in-store or on our website, it only takes one ticket to win a life-changing jackpot prize," said Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. "Powerball tickets are just $2 per play and players can feel good about the fact that, in Pennsylvania, proceeds go to help older residents with life-sustaining programs and services. While these are exciting times, we remind players to please play responsibly."
If there is no winner on Saturday, Monday's drawing will climb to $747 million or $403.1 in cash.
Some tips if you plan on playing:
Always check your tickets before leaving a store, tickets cannot be canceled.
Always sign the back of your ticket. That prevents anyone else from trying to cash it.
If you win, never post the winning ticket on social media. Someone may try to cash your ticket.
The last time that Powerball jackpot was hit was this past November in Kansas. It last hit in Pennsylvania on August 3, last year.
