The Aquarium at the Pittsburgh Zoo is closed for the rest of Tuesday after a morning fire.
The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium says a small electrical fire was reported just before 10:50 a.m.
Pittsburgh Firefighters responded and “quickly” got the fire under control.
All guests and staff were evacuated and no one was hurt. The Zoo says the animals inside the aquarium are being monitored.
Fans are in place and being used to clear out smoke in the building.
Zoo officials say the fire was “confined to the ductwork, and the building has been deemed structurally sound.”
