PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Allegheny County police have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with the death of a 2-year-old girl.
In incident occurred on Dec. 2 when first responders found 2-year-old Brielle Swinton unresponsive in a residence on the 700 block of Woodward Avenue in Stowe Township.
An investigation determined that 19-year-old Kyrell Morgan was responsible for the young girl's death and an arrest warrant was issued.
Morgan was taken into police custody on Dec. 31.
According to court documents, Morgan and Swinton lived at the residence with Swinton's mother.
The death was determined to be a homicide.
Morgan is being held at Allegheny County Jail and is being charged with homicide and endangering the welfare of children.
