PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — On April 20, Zone 5 officers were flagged down in the 7600 block of Kelly Street.
The two women brought officers to a male who was down in the road.
The male had reportedly been hit by a vehicle that fled the scene just before 11 p.m.
After getting a detailed description from the two women, an APB was sent out while the man was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The male later died at the hospital.
After detectives from Major Crimes and the Crime Scene Unit investigated the incident, police were able to issue an arrest warrant for the 25-year-old Ausha Brown for homicide.
