Homicide detectives were called to the scene of an attempted murder/suicide in Penn Hills Tuesday night.
A 911 call came in around 9:30 p.m. about a shooting in the 8000 block of Thon Drive.
First responders found a 41-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds. S
he was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
A 50-year-old man with a head wound was pronounced dead at the scene.
Allegheny County Police say the man shot the woman before killing himself.
