PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Four students from Brashear High School are facing charges after assaulting a school officer.
The officer was attempting to break up a fight at the school and has received medical attention for their injuries.
Pittsburgh Police responded to Brashear High School to detain the students involved.
The students involved will be facing criminal charges.
It is not yet known what charges will be filed against the students.
The incident that resulted in the officer's injuries stemmed from a large altercation between students.
This is not the first incident in recent memory of a student assaulting a school officer; Earlier this month a student was charged with aggravated assault when they punched an officer attempting to break up a fight.
