Good news for motorists. Campbells Run Road in Carnegie has re-opened to traffic.
Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced Wednesday that Campbells Run between Newell Street and the Public Works District 2 maintenance garage, which has been closed since June for some construction work, is once again open to motorists.
An average of over 14,000 drivers use Campbells Run Road on a daily basis.
A retaining wall, along with drainage improvements, utility relocations, milling and paving was done during the closure.
