A car crash in Pittsburgh's Southside Flats neighborhood turned into a shooting Wednesday night.
Police say that before 9pm they were responding to a call of someone shot at East Carson and 18th Street.
A man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg. He told police that he was involved in a crash on Pius Street with another driver.
As they were exchanging information, the victim said the other driver shot him and stole his phone before fleeing the scene.
According to police, the victim got back into his own car and drove off. He came to a stop on East Carson when he hit another vehicle.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
