The abandoned Century III Mall will soon be condemned, following a vote Tuesday night.
The West Mifflin Borough council voted unanimously Tuesday night to move forward with condemnation.
This comes after a judge this month fined the owners of the mall nearly a quarter-million dollars for violations at the property.
Las Vegas-based Moonbeam Capital Investments bought the mall several years with plans to revitalize it, but never did.
In the last few months, several people have been arrested for trespassing and vandalism at the mall.
There was also an arson. And last month, a teenager fell through the roof while filming a TikTok video there.
