
Stand up comedy superstar Dave Chappelle is bringing his show to Pittsburgh.
The award-winning comedian and actor will play PPG Paints Arena on June 1.
A Live Nation presale begins on Thursday, April 27 at 10 a.m. with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m.
Chappelle is very serious about his material getting out as well.
No cellphone or camera recording will be permitted.
Those who attend the show will have to put their phone or smart watch in a “Yondr” pouch that will unlock at the end of the show, with fans being able to hold on to their device during the show.
Anyone caught with a cellphone not locked will be “immediately ejected.”
Chappelle is known for his sketch Comedy Central show “Chappelle’s Show” as well as other appearances on television and movies.
He was the recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2019.
