The campaign to re-imagine the Tree of Life Synagogue took another step forward Tuesday.

Studio Daniel Libeskand released the first public renderings of the re-designed synagogue, which will include space for worship, education and remembrance for the 11 people killed in the 2018 mass shooting.
Partner at Studio Daniel Libeskand Carla Swickerath said the design process was about balance.
“Our approach has been trying to communicate the mission of the new organization while also respecting this incredibly-historic neighborhood we are in, and always remembering the importance of what happened on this site.”

There is no word on when construction might begin.
