A new kind of Chinese cuisine is opening this weekend in the North Hills.

Hong BBQ & Hot Pot opens on the 4800 block of McKnight Road Sunday.

They offer something called Chinese Hot pot or Chinese fondue.

Things like meatballs and beef are added to a pot of hot broth and cooked at your table.

You can also add vegetables, noodles and more to your pot.

“It’s quite nutritious as it absorbs all the nutrients and flavors when cooking your meat and vegetables in the broth base,” the restaurant says on its website.

Another option is Korean style BBQ. Beef, pork, chicken, seafood and more are cooked at a grill right at your table.

Hong BBQ & Hot Pot also offers fountain drinks, alcohol and more.

The McKnight location is only the third location to open in the country.

The other two are in Florida.

Another location also opens on Sunday in Grandville, Michigan.
